Group-rated employers who have experienced one or
more claims in 2007 or 2008 are now required to obtain two hours of
safety training. One way to do that is to attend the Ohio
Safety Congress & Expo.

Workforce
Training Grants Now Available for DMTA Members
Funding is now available for continuing education
training in advanced manufacturing areas including Lean
manufacturing, process improvement and problem solving, project
management, supervisory skills, machining and machine maintenance
through Sinclair’s Workforce Development & Corporate Services.
There is a $3,000 maximum grant allocation per
company wherein 75% of an individual’s training enrollment fees will
be grant funded. Participating companies will be required to pay the
remaining 25%.
