2006 AMTS a Huge Success!!

With more exhibitors, more square footage and more attendees, the 2006 Advanced Manufacturing & Technology Show was an unqualified success!

The 2006 AMTS, which was held October 25 and 26 at the Dayton Airport Expo Center, showcased the latest and greatest in manufacturing technology.  Everything from robotics to assembly systems, machining centers to laser cutting was on display covering nearly 30,000 square feet of floor space!  The second year at this venue, exhibitors once again enjoyed easy access and free parking.  Attendees must have enjoyed those items also because 2500 of them showed up.  With a 15% increase in exhibitors, they had plenty to check out as they filled the aisles of the show.  This year also offered exhibitors the convenience of an Exhibitor VIP Lounge and some recreation with a “Longest Drive” contest in a virtual golf game.  The winner was Jon Waldo of Park National Bank with a drive of 241 yards.

Plan to exhibit next year, when the 2007 AMTS will be held on October 24 and 25, again at the Dayton Airport Expo Center.
