Career Awareness/Worker Recruitment Activities -- Increasing the pool of skilled workers is the goal of our classroom presentations and special events to raise awareness of careers in our industry.

 

Top Gun Tooling & Machining Academy -- An advanced-level critical thinking training program for skilled technicians, developed by the AIM Center, Sinclair, and DTMA.  ($)

 

Apprentice Programs, Graduation -- A team will help members set up internal apprentice training programs on site.  Apprentice graduates are recognized at an annual ceremony.

 

Curriculum Influence – DTMA identifies skills needed by industry and works with training partners to meet these needs.

NIMS -- National Institute for Metalworking Skills – Industry-defined skill standards, worker credentials, and training program accreditation.

Member-Get-A-Member Program

Earn incentive awards for recruiting new members!
Companies join DTMA because they are concerned about achieving or retaining their competitive edge by keeping up-to-date on the latest industry trends, developing new knowledge and skills, and by networking with the area’s business leaders.  Know a company who would benefit by being a member?  Recruit a Regular member and you will receive an award valued at $50 that can be used toward any fee-based DTMA service or event.

There is no limit on the number of incentive awards you can accumulate!

Here’s how you participate!  Call the office (937-512-3862) for a supply of membership recruitment packets, print a membership application, or simply tell us that you referred a company to us.  Be sure to write your name and company on the “referred by” line on the application.  When the membership application is approved, we will contact you to select an incentive award.
